Doug Jensen

Senior Project Engineer/Reclamation Engineer

More than 50 years in the mining field working in many different fasciitis.  Experiences range from being a Geologic Draftsman at a copper mine to Mine Manager of a gold heap leach facility.  During my career I have successfully closed 5 heap leach gold operations including the first complete closure of a heap leach gold mine in the State of Nevada to be accepted by the BLM, U.S. Forest Service and NDEP.  Also closed the first heap leach gold mine in the State of Utah to be accepted by the BLM and UDOGM for release of all bonding. Worked 8 years a Utah Department of Oil Gas & Mining reviewing mine applications as a Reclamation Engineer.  As the only Engineer in the department I calculated reclamation bonds and visited a majority of the ~700 mines in the state reviewing operations and providing insight on the reclamation of the site. I have provided oversight of the building and operation of several heap leach operations and functioned from a Process Superintendent over the crushing, conveying and process operations at one to Mine Manager at another. I have worked as a Pryometallurgist at a copper smelter to a running a met lab at a gold mine. I have spent the last eight years at a large copper operation demolishing and reclaiming unused facilities.
